replication:master-master

Q. It seems like I can easily do master-master replication: the insert/update will always be done in only one of the data centers. Are there any known gotchas in this design? (2017)

A. Consider this scenario: you have a numeric primary index on the first field and two replicated Tarantool instances. If you simultaneously insert {1, 'first tnt'} on the first instance and {1, 'second tnt'} on the second, you’ll have a replication failure, since Tarantool doesn’t have a mechanism for resolving replication conflicts.

However, if you’re using some kind of UUID as a primary key, that'll help you avoid this kind of problems.
