Q. For the evaluation purposes, I installed Tarantool using
yum. Is there an option to install it using a pre-compiled package?
A. If you want to install it locally, you need to build it yourself as follows:
cmake . -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/home/<username>; make; make install
Or you can extract
/usr/bin/tarantool to some other directory.
rpm -i tarantool-*.rpm –prefix=/<your_prefix>, but the init script won't work in this case.
