docker:connecting

Q. I’m trying to use Tarantool’s Docker image (https://hub.docker.com/r/tarantool/tarantool/), but having some issues. I tried to connect to the container via docker exec -t -i docker_topn_1 console, but it seems broken:

/usr/local/bin/console: unix/:/var/run/tarantool/tarantool.sock: No such file or directory
builtin/console.lua:316: Connection is not established: No such file or directory

Then I tried to establish a connection with Tarantool via tarantoolctl connect.

My docker-compose.yml file is as follows:

topn:
        image: tarantool/tarantool:1.7
        depends_on:
            - postgres
        ports:
            - 80:80
            - 3301:3301
            - 3311:3311
            - 3514:3514
        volumes:
          - ../tarantool:/opt/tarantool

        command: /opt/tarantool/start.lua

(2017)

A. The absence of a socket file means that you somehow skipped the entry point.

Also, the command you’re using is wrong. It should be tarantool /opt/tarantool/start.lua.
